Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember certain information about your session or preferences across page loads.
What Kwestra sets
We keep our cookie footprint small. Here is what we use:
- Functional cookies. These are necessary for the site to work correctly. They handle things like keeping you signed in to the Kwestra platform, preserving your session state, and routing requests correctly through Cloudflare. Without these, core features of the application do not function.
- Analytics cookies. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is active on a page, it may collect aggregate, anonymised data about page visits - such as page views, approximate country of origin, and browser type. Cloudflare Analytics is designed to be privacy-preserving and does not build individual user profiles or share data with advertisers. No personal data is stored in the analytics layer.
We do not set any advertising cookies. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, retargeting tags, or social media widgets that track you across sites. No cookie on kwestra.com is used to identify you for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
Authentication is handled by Clerk (clerk.com). When you sign in, Clerk may set its own session cookies on the kwestra.com domain. Clerk's cookie usage is governed by their privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or similar third-party tracking tools.
How to control cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or clear cookies on exit. Note that blocking functional cookies will prevent the Kwestra platform from operating correctly. Analytics cookies can be blocked without affecting core functionality.
Browser-specific instructions: search "manage cookies" in your browser's help documentation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all provide this).
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update the version number and last-reviewed date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
